From school to the local community: training and reforestation in Upper Susa Valley with the “Dalmasso” Agricultural Institute.

During two educational outreach mornings dedicated to exploring the work of forestry professionals and good practices for woodland protection, Altea Green Power had the pleasure of sharing a hands-on experience with the classes of the “Dalmasso” Agricultural Institute in Pianezza, focused on reforestation initiatives and sustainable forest management.

The sessions offered an opportunity for discussion and learning, helping students engage with land stewardship, biodiversity and hydrogeological risk prevention through the direct account of a planting project as a practical example of environmental enhancement.

For Altea Green Power, sustainability is not only environmental, but also social: it means education, awareness and the engagement of younger generations in building a more balanced, responsible future.

On World Earth Day, these initiatives remind us that sustainability is not merely celebrated: it is built every day through tangible local action.
