New roots for the future: Altea Green Power supports reforestation in Val di Susa in partnership with Consorzio Forestale Alta Valle Susa.
We decided to support this project to regenerate local ecosystems damaged by fires, landslides, and climate-related extreme events.
Our commitment extends beyond building renewable energy plants and is part of our ESG journey: tangible measures that safeguard the environment and community well-being and help combat climate change.
By 2029, the project will plant 16,000 trees across approximately 7 hectares, in five designated areas. The first phase began in September in the Cotolivier and Salesiani areas, aiming to create new forests and inclusive, accessible spaces.
Reforestation means taking the long view, planting today the seeds of a more resilient, sustainable tomorrow.
We are proud to support Consorzio Forestale Alta Valle Susa in a project of strong environmental and social significance. Investing in reforestation means making a tangible contribution to mitigating climate change, safeguarding biodiversity, and restoring vital ecosystems, while also returning accessible and safe green spaces to communities, rich in cultural, scenic, and recreational value. This initiative marks a concrete step in our sustainability path and reaffirms Altea Green Power’s commitment to enhancing the local area and supporting its communities.
