Altea Green Power application for a single authorisation and environmental impact assessment submitted for a hybrid project consisting of wind power and storage (BESS)

The hybrid plant will be located between Puglia and Basilicata and will comprise 80 MW of wind power and 40 MW of battery energy storage (BESS).
Combining renewable generation with storage systems helps optimize the energy produced, improve its grid feed-in profile and increase power system flexibility.
The project, expected to generate approximately 200 GWh per year, has already drawn interest from international investors, confirming growing attention to innovative, integrated energy solutions.
