Altea Green Power acquired its first proprietary photovoltaic plant, located in Montecchio Emilia, Reggio Emilia, in Emilia-Romagna, with capacity of 16.75 MW, already operational since January 2024 and supported by incentives. Starting in July 2025, the plant benefits from a 20-year FER 1 incentive tariff.
This acquisition marks another step in Altea Green Power’s growth path, in line with the evolution of the business model set out in the 2024-2028 Business Plan, which provides for the gradual strengthening of the Company’s role as an Independent Power Producer (IPP), combining development activities with direct asset ownership and management.
This transaction represents a tangible element of the strategy we defined in the 24-28 Business Plan presented in 2024, aimed at complementing our core business with increasingly direct oversight of the industrial phase, as an Independent Power Producer. The acquisition of an asset in Emilia-Romagna, already operational, incentivized and offering solid cash generation prospects, allows us to take a significant step in this direction, further reinforcing our positioning. We look to the future with the aim of capturing similar opportunities, in line with our industrial vision and our commitment to creating sustainable long-term value.
Giovanni Di Pascale, CEO AGP
This first acquisition allows Altea Green Power to bring forward the start of the IPP portfolio development to 2026, versus the original 2027 timeline, with the aim of reaching, or even exceeding, the targets set out in the 2024 – 2028 Business Plan.
