Altea Green Power took part in the event “SMEs, competition and capital markets: an international perspective”, a forum for discussion and for the presentation of the first Report of the Observatory promoted by Cetif and Consob – Commissione Nazionale per le Società e la Borsa, held in Milan at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
The main topics addressed included:
- The listing of small and medium-sized enterprises on the Italian market, with direct discussion with entrepreneurs.
- Access to capital markets and the competitiveness of SMEs.
- An international comparison between Italy, Spain, Sweden and the United States.
CEO Giovanni Di Pascale, speaking at the event, commented on Altea Green Power’s path from its establishment to its listing and subsequent translisting, emphasizing how the Company’s experience provides practical guidance for other Italian SMEs.
During the CEO’s address, there was also a focus on strategies and measures required to support SMEs in accessing capital markets, from the need for stable tax policies to the enhancement of projects developed through listing, demonstrating how access to capital constitutes a lever for growth, innovation and competitiveness, while acknowledging the cultural and size-related challenges typical of Italian SMEs.
