Wonderful news at Altea Green Power: we are now officially part of IO SCELGO STEM, the STEM by Women initiative that promotes the involvement of girls in scientific and technological fields through tangible role models and inspiring stories.
STEM disciplines remain one of the main engines of professional and personal growth today. Yet, as highlighted by the data in the official brochure, only 1 in 3 students in STEM fields is female. Many girls still struggle to imagine themselves in scientific careers because they perceive them as “typically male”, shaped by cultural stereotypes and the lack of relatable figures they can look up to.
IO SCELGO STEM was created precisely to close this gap!
