Altea Green Power's vision merges development and sustainability into a single goal

We know that Altea Green Power’s growth must go hand in hand with the social welfare and the environmental and economic improvement of the areas where we operate. To this end, we have launched new business lines alongside traditional renewables (photovoltaics and wind), focusing on the development of BESS plants, increasingly vital for national grid stability.

We believe that truly sustainable development must place people and the environment at the centre, enhancing skills, resources, and innovative solutions.

Relationships with the community and local area

As a utility company, Altea Green Power helps reduce CO₂ emissions through Co-Development projects and the installation of energy efficiency plants that deliver real benefits to local communities and the local area.

In 2024, Altea Green Power took part in the "Let's Clean Up the World" initiative, promoted with the Legambiente Circle of Rivoli (TO), reaffirming its commitment to environmental protection and local community awareness.

A sustainability path that starts with innovation

For us, at Altea Green Power, innovation is the fulcrum around which ideas, projects, products and processes revolve. Starting with this concept, we have developed an ESG sustainability path, aimed at the growth of the company and the area around us, summarized in I4Quality, I4Process, I4Environment, I4Solution.

Altea Green Power's commitments to environmental and social issues

Altea Green Power, in carrying out the dual materiality analysis, was inspired by the requirements of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) issued by the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG), in order to ensure that sustainability reporting focuses both on the areas where the Group generates the greatest impacts (impact materiality) and on the consequences that risks and opportunities from outside the Group may have on it (financial materiality).

There are 18 topics identified as material, for which the Group discloses information in the Sustainability Report 2024.

Altea Green Power firmly believes that establishing specific procedures to govern the Group’s management, aimed at creating shared value, is essential to pursuing its sustainable success.

Since its foundation, AGP has been conducting Research and Development projects.
Although most of the technologies used in renewable source plants are by now consolidated, AGP is developing innovative solutions in the accumulation system and, in relation to energy efficiency, processes and software for the management of orders also filed with SIAE (Italian Society of Authors and Publishers).

Altea Green Power has always pursued a development model that embraces the principles of sustainability, transparency and quality by committing to and adopting specific methodologies, with the aim of adding value for all our stakeholders, for people, for communities and for the territory, fully respecting the environment. In this context, we conducted an initial analysis of the alignment between our business model and strategic goals and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals – SDGs, including through the assessment provided by the SDGs Action Manager platform developed by Blab-Global Compact, which enabled us to identify certain SDGs as priorities, based on the Company’s ability to make a significant contribution through its business activities.

The Sustainability is part of us

Important and ambitious objectives for Altea Green Power which, through the drafting of the Sustainability Report, reports, in total transparency, its choices, activities, results and commitment of the different resources to inform stakeholders of the details of the company, allowing one to formulate one’s own opinion on how the organization interprets its mission, a mission which, for Altea Green Power, translates concretely into the valorization and use of natural resources, such as the sun and the wind, inexhaustible sources of energy that will allow future generations to live in a better world.
